Nominated for Best Album of 2014 in Kosmo Malaysia’s Critics Choice, Malaysian rock band Pitahati defines themselves as Malay avant-garde in rock movement. With a touch of nusantara (the Malay Archipelago) vibe, their music are based in a expression of psychedelic rock combined with a nice ambient touch on the visuals and lightings. They will be performing a one hour set premiering materials from their newly released LP “Selamat Datang Ke Panggung Suara” at Live Fact. The event will take place on the 5th of March 2016 (this coming saturday) from 8PM onwards.

Admission:  RM30 (Available at the door)

Pitahati’s latest LP “Selamat Datang Ke Panggung Suara” is available at Teenage Head Records and Hard Graft Records and will be available for sale at the showcase at Live Fact

Recently, we’ve just caught a first look at what Saucony will be offering for their Spring/Summer 2016 Collection. With their recent release of the the upcoming collection such as the Saucony Jazz, Grid 9000, Grid SD, Shadow and Shadow 5000, we could really use a fire emoji to describe the lineup. All shoes are utilized with a great use of tonal colors like white, cream, grey, and black which hits of more bright shades like red, purple, teal, and aqua. Bringing life to the collection and the balance of each silhouettes.

Besides being nominated as Singapore’s Best Artist by Apple Music, they also came in as the first South East Asian act to break into Spotify’s Viral 50. The Sam Willows is currently the most popular music band channel on YouTube in Singapore.

Ne.Sense x PUMA Blaze of Glory Swift

The Blaze of Glory continues to shine this season with a contemporary revamp in the Blaze of Glory Swift. Taiwanese retailer Ne.Sense taps German sportswear staple PUMA for SS16 to bring us the modern- inspired sport silhouette. The upper is combination of light wheat tan nubuck leather and tonal neoprene, finished with a hint of premium camel wool. Sitting on top of transparent custom outsole, the style represents the Ne.Sense’s direction playing with Zen theme in natural.

Bittersweet Latest Single “Let It Fall”

Have you guys ever heard of this band before ? If no, we’ll Bittersweet is four piece of an influential British pop rock band which formed in Ipoh, Malaysia back in 2004. They penetrated the music scene through tastefully combining pop yeh yeh sensibilities with with Madchester and Britpop cues. Showing up on stage in well-fitted, color coordinated, in neat suits of the mods, playing a good blend of sounds alike the legendary British rock band. For example Oasis, The Stone Roses, and The Beatles.

In 2006, Bittersweet released their first full length album called the “Perfect Match“. Their debut released embarked an impactful Brit-Rock band in Malaysia. With massive support from music scenes all over Malaysia they managed to release their second album, called “Empire’s Transition” in May 2011. From having fans all around Asia, Bittersweet has been touring countless places like Jakarta, Bandung, Singapore and all around Malaysia.

This Ipoh boy band, experimenting their sounds of brit rock and garage pop influenced by Britain in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, creating a niche with their own style of music. Their lyrics is about reality of life has inspired them to made more music. Currently, the band is working for their upcoming album which also celebrating their 10-years of making music.

This time around the band has recently released their latest single “LET IT FALL” which was taken from their upcoming debut self-titled album “BTSWT”. I’m sure some of the Bittersweet fans out there are stoked about their upcoming album to be released soon.
