DANGERDISKO long awaited “Hedonism”

 

DANGERDISKO is set to storm the scene with their long awaited album entitled “Hedonism”. The anticipated album is packed with a massive punch as they have collaborated alongside local and international heavyweights in the music industry like Fuad Alhabshi of Kyoto Protocol, Meliha Faisal, Sayla, Melissa Indot, Stephanie Morillo and Soraya Taib of The Impatient Sisters.

The Electroclash heroes came up with a twist for their 10 tracks debut album with a conceptual storyline; the first in Malaysia! This unique concept will certainly give a whole new experience to the listeners as they venture into the sounds and beats of the songs with each has their own stories to tell.  To top it all, there is also tailored visuals aid that goes along with each track at DANGERDISKO official website to heighten the impact.

The 10 episodes story tells a tale of a man who is trying to redeem his life after struggling with severe drug addiction. He then met with a woman who teaches him to live his life to the fullest and in the time of his quest to recover, he had fallen madly in love with her.

His journey then turns bitter as he met with betrayal that made him lost in his own delusions. But, it is through the bitterness that he learnt the value of love, life and hope as he struggles to beat his addiction and maintain his own sanity.

DANGERDISKO Hedonism album is free to download at their Official website that will go live on the 11th October 2015. mita sneakers x Le Coq Sportif R1000 LE “Tour de France”

 

French sportswear label Le Coq Sportif linked up with mita sneakers to rework one of the brand’s most successful silhouettes, the R1000. Inspired by the Le Coq Sportif’s cycling heritage and the French colorways, the pair is seen donning a red, blue and white colour palette. The predominantly white upper is seen constructed by a mixture of premium suede, leather and synthetic leather. The royal blue color highlights the toebox while the eyelets, heel tab and parts of the midsole get hints of red.

Dae Kim – Baby Blue (Ft. Royota Katayama) M.V.

Recently, Dae Kim released a rather conceptual music video to one of his latest songs from his album, </3?, named, Baby Blue.
With hauntingly beautiful vocals performed by Royota Katayama, Baby Blue is a track that will leave you mesmerized and mystified in its wonder.

With the music video just being released, we can clearly say that this music video is surely one to wrack the brain. It seems rather conceptual and definitely leaves one thinking about the meaning and answer – needless to say, you’ll be watching it more than once that’s for sure.

BAIT x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Nightmare”

With the celebration of 25th anniversary of the ASICS Gel Lyte III, Asics has teamed up with BAIT for a collaborative release of the most aggressive iteration colorway, “Nightmare”.

The “Nightmare” is dressed in the fusion of the most premium materials and featured a combination of premium Japanese full grain leather and scaled reptile suede. Reflective-backed metal mesh and silver wire mesh branded with a 3m reflective BAIT logo can be seen at the spilt tongue. At the heel, reflective materials aid the branding while a speckled midsole and translucent outsole completed the luxury look.

This luxury collaboration will be hitting local Ascics’s selected retailers such as Sole What, price at RM799.

The AAPE x Reebok collabs keep coming. This time around, the Bape sub brand has ditched the woodland colours and set their sights on Reebok’s basketball division. The Pump Omni Lite has been given a stealth overhaul with a blend of monochromatic AAPE camo print and black patent leather. Branding is out in force with the AAPE name on the heel and tongue, the trademark Moonface logo on the Pump and hashtag, and ‘AAPE BY A BATHING APE’ printed in full on the top lace – you know, just in case you didn’t notice those massive letters on the rear.

KITH x HIGHSNOBIETY x PUMA “A Tale of Two Cities” Pack

2015 marks Highsnobiety’s 10-year anniversary and, to celebrate the occasion, the site has tapped KITH and PUMA for a commemorative release. Inspired by their respective roots in New York City and Berlin, the pack is named “A Tale of Two Cities” where we see KITH founder Ronnie Fieg reworking both the Blaze of Glory and R698.
The Blaze Of Glory is a States inspired pair where the pair is decked out in navy, red and white, coupled with a quilted upper with red accents. The middle section sees a speckled Trinomic midsole and asymmetrical stars-and-stripes debossed patterns beneath the tonal lacing. The R68 is a nod to Highsnob’s roots in Berlin, picked out in a black, quilted nubuck upper with red accents and the colours of the German flag on the inside panel, while the latter references KITH’s New York home in a classic red, white and deep indigo leather combo. Both sit atop an unmistakable PUMA TRINOMIC speckled midsole.

Vans X Eley Kishimoto Lookbook

Vans has teamed up with the renowned fashion store, British design house Eley Kishimoto to put a stylish touch on a collection of wearable art with Vans footwear. The collection utilizing their signature graphic print aesthetic, Eley Kishimoto reinterprets the quintessential Vans Waffle Sole and Checkerboard pattern to create footwear prints exclusively for Vans.

The graphic print aesthetic consists of energetic ‘Drums’ print, which combines deconstructed checks with tribal motifs. The Drums print can be found on the Classic Slip-On, the Hanelei Sandal, the Sk8-Hi Slim and Aura Snowboard Boot available exclusively for women.

This collection comprises Slip-on, SK8-Hi, Authentic, shirt, t-shirt and backpack. Prices range from Rm40 to Rm249. The Vans x Eley Kishimoto collection is going to hit the selected Vans retailers very soon.
