What a smooth track to smoothen out your Monday blues. This brand spanking new one by the boys Tactmatic, Ego and Darren Ashley is a real winner. The song is basically about the struggle between chasing your dreams and trying to fit into the norms of society. Be sure to grab a good pair of headphones for full listening pleasure.

Gua angkat tangan tapi hanya jari tengah,
bukan soal hidup dan mati buruk atau baik,
sebelum ke kubur kita sama sama naik.”

IMG_0226

A new release for the month of September by the dudes of Heroin Kills Hell Fellas, or more commonly known as HKHF is out, and the collection has a pretty interesting name. “Die Young & Safe Yourself. Interesting indeed. From what we’ve been told, the collection is about hypocrisy or about being a hypocrite. This release will feature tie-dye t-shirts, custom camo snapbacks, a special collaboration t-shirt project with HEI called “City Rads” and lastly, bucket hats.

Standard operating procedure of this south side dudes is that all their releases are printed in very limited quantity, cause that’s how they roll. Hit them up on their Facebook page for inquiries, meanwhile, check out more images of the collection.

Mayhem Troopers

Blossom

A group of fixed gear enthusiast got together and formed their own posse of fixie peeps called Mayhem Troopers Fixed Gear back in 2010. Based out of Shah Alam, they would do weekly cycle meetups and soon enough, the group were looking into something that would identify themselves as a part of the group. What more easier way to do that than to print t-shirts for the group. The first print was a pretty big hit not only among the fixie community, but to the general public too.

Fast forward to 2013, the brand is still very much involved in the fixed gear community, but they have a significant increase of followers outside of the fixed gear community, which pretty much says that their clothes have still been killing it since 2010. Below are more images of their latest release, so if you are looking to score some Mayhem, they do not have any Facebook page, cause they cool that way, but you can get in touch with them through their website.

stussykltiedie1

The Stussy Chapter Kuala Lumpur Store  just released this Chapter Store exclusive tie-dye edition. The dye on this release seems to be similar to the general tie-dye collection released almost the same time as this. The “Kuala Lumpur Tie-Dye Edition” comes in 3 colors, Blue, Red and Grey which is printed on Pocket T-shirts and Tank Tops. A simple ‘Stussy’ logo printed on the front at the left and a large “Stussy” logo accompanied by “Kuala Lumpur” printed on the back. The simple prints allows the tie-dye to take center stage in the release and make it the focus of the t-shirt.

So to all Stussy Kuala Lumpur Tribesmen, the pack is already available at the Stussy Chapter Kuala Lumpur Store and is going for RM129 for the Tanks and RM149 for the Pocket.

Yuna – Rescue

A very playful and poppy track by our local songstress Yuna. Only just releasing this 2 days ago on her SoundCloud account, Yuna plans to make a lyric video which will be using photos submitted by her fans. Nice!

The lyrics to the happy poppy tune is all about being a strong and independent girl, kinda like Yuna herself. And although times may be hard and challenging, and sometimes facing it all alone, she will still be okay. A very encouraging piece.

Enjoy the song and have a good Friday ahead!

Nike Air Pippen 1 “Midnight Navy”

While everyone is still raving over Michael Jordan and his legacy as a basketball player, his scores and stats and definitely his shoes, Nike is now paying homage to the guy who helped MJ and the Chicago Bulls in achieving the legacy that we all know of today. The NBA has named him as one of the top 50 basketball players of all time, Scottie Pippen.

First of the many more Nike Air Pippen 1 to come ( we hope), the pair features a midnight navy suede that completely covers the upper which is complemented by a squiggly bubble multi-color which zig zags across the shoe with a Nike Hyperflight Max like hologram pattern laden inside. Pippen’s name is etched on the tongue and back of the shoe. The shoe is dropping today, so to all Pippen fans out there, be sure to grab one.

The Crissie – Green Edition

1234937_213024842193840_593379382_n

More and more local brands are going green lately. And by going green we don’t necessary mean going green for the environment, if you know what we mean. The Crissie is a brand that has been around for less than half a year, actually less than 3 months, and they hail from Kuantan, Pahang. So yeah, if any of you guys are in support of going ‘green’, hit them up ( and not THAT kinda hit ) at their Facebook page.
