IPOH GIRLS BY SPOOKY WET DREAMS

A 5-pieces of band based in Klang known by the name Spooky Wet Dreams has released their latest single titled “Ipoh Girls”. This is unlike any of their previous release so far where this song is more straightforward especially in dedicating to all the ladies out there.

The songs is basically a tribute to Perakian women who some of the band have dated, had interest in, and admired. Somehow they’ve had good times and good memories with these people and to appreciate it the bands decide to write a song about them is just something all of them collectively intended to do. The Return of BRANDWASHED

Some call him the Batman, some call him a bad man, but to many in the local streetwear scene, we just call him Mr. Brandwashed. For many of you who are new to the scene and have not heard of him, Mr. Brandwashed is a famous Instagram account that calls out local streetwear brands for copying other brands (locally or internationally) OR just putting out clothing design stuff which are seriously questionable. Mr. Brandwashed became extremely popular back in 2013 when he first started out by calling out some of the major local brands on their plagiarism.

He was still going strong in 2014 up until 2015, where he started slowing down for a bit, and come August 2015 he just went quiet. Up until now. Where he has just recently became active again, targeting a few brands which can be seen in the pictures above.

We have reached out to him on his comeback via Instagram DM, and here is what he has to say about it:

“I’ve been super busy this couple of years. At some point I was so sick of the scene. Like literally sick. When I saw some lame designs, I felt like throwing up in my mouth. Super cringy.”

If you’ve never heard of him, and would like some background on what exactly Mr. Brandwashed does, do follow his Instagram here. Also do check out some of his previous interviews with us here and here.
