Waffleheads: The Collab Hunter | With Aaniz Azwan

Collaborations often hold a story behind the silhouette, deep meanings that tie in the history of both partners into one shoe, and Aaniz Azwan has made it a mission to find them all.

Much like a lot of people who got into Vans, Aaniz was first exposed to the brand when he was deep in the local skateboarding and underground music scene. From part of the outfit that categorised a stereotype, Aaniz gradually fell deeper into the rabbit hole after discovering Off The Wall website, a forum now more well known as Under The Palms. From there, his exposure to the world of Vans flourished, and so too did his collection of rare, and sought after silhouettes.

From a Steve Caballero signed Half Cab to rare, underground collabs and everything under the rainbow; as long as the collabs keep on coming, Aaniz will keep on hunting.
