Complete Your Summer Techwear Outfit With The New Nike ISPA React

2019 is a year where no stone is left unturned, no niche left unexplored, and no crowd too small to cater too. The ISPA line of shoes, is one that serves a very small niche of consumers, who are looking for a shoe that can withstand urban commuting, looks good with a techwear outfit, and stands out, and this ISPA React ticks all of the boxes, should you be in the market for one.

Only slight differences begets it from the first release, as this iteration now enlists the use of mesh for its upper, while adding several orange detailings throughout the shoe that looks like it came out of NASA’s testing department. Asymmetric lacing is employed, whereas the back tab is moved to the medial portion of the heel. A Volt colourway is also included in the pack, but for the extra aesthetic value, we’d suggest the Ghost Aqua as it’s otherwise known. No problems in the cushioning department too, as the ISPA takes the React cushioning to place its model upon.

The Nike ISPA React releases on the 6th of June on Nike.com for approximately RM 669.

Reflect On Your Achievements With The Soon To Be Released Air Jordan 7 ‘Cardinal’

You Can Never Have Too Much 3M

Jordan always like to put a mix to its rich and storied silhouettes, and with the next retro, puts a material twist to the silhouette. Having been one of the first three models that helped Michael Jordan win an NBA Championship, the Air Jordan 7 has cemented its status in the books and has had multiple reboots under the “Cardinal” guise.

Now though, Jumpman looks to bring back the storied silhouette, with the only glaring difference being a full hi-vis makeover, replacing the usual white leather construction. And that’s about it. A full 3M upper is about as shouty as it gets, and while it may be slightly upsetting to purists of the silhouette, but if you want to stand out, this is one avenue to explore.

The Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal” will be releasing on Nike.com on the 8th of June for an estimated price of RM 940.

Where To Get The Yeezy 350 V2 “Black”

Monochromatic Yeezy are relatively few and far in between, with the last one being the latest “Cream” drop amongst other solid colourways like the “Sesame” and “Butter” to name a few. Now, with an upgraded iteration to include a transparent side stripe, Ye has finally come to his senses and release what we’ve all been secretly wanting but never really spoken out loud, a triple black iteration, famously last seen on the “Bred” 350s.

The differences however, lie in the details. For instance, the knit pattern follows the new ‘Static’ iteration, with red highlights only present on the stitching on the back heel. An interesting addition though, is the use of reflective laces instead of normal ones. Apart from that, all else remains the same like the Yeezy we all know and love.

Now for the good part. Retailing at RM 990, the pair will be available at Adidas Originals KLCC, Pavilion, Crossover and Sole What Mid Valley on June 7 at 10AM. A worthy addition to your daily.

Where To Buy The Air Jordan 7 “Bucks” Player Exclusive

Ray Allen is pretty well known for his massive collection of Player Exclusive footwear, and it’s only right that Jordan recalls a firm favourite back from his early days with a retail release of the “Bucks” Air Jordan 7 PE. Even though his team roster includes the Seattle SuperSonics, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat, the two guard cut his teeth playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, and this new PE takes details from his old ones as well as the team’s late ’90s – early ’00s colour palette.

Following a little bit like the Air Jordan 6 ‘Black Cat,’ the 7 gets draped in black nubuck replacing the leather in the original version, accented with rich purple, grey and forest green hits on the midsole, as a homage to the team’s accent colours at that time. The tongue features a jagged print with the same colours, and Ray Allen’s signature rounds in the insole rounds off the differences. One for the collectors, and die hard basketball fans of the yesteryears of NBA.

The Air Jordan 7 “Bucks” releases on June 1st for an approximate price of RM 796 at Nike.com.

“We Don’t Have a Name For This Show….Yet” : ASICS GEL KAYANO 5 OG X VIVIENNE WESTWOOD

We haven’t gotten an ASICS shoe in a while, but when we do, it’s almost always a hyped one. A marriage of heritage in between two storied brands, Vivienne Westwood has lent its hand in redesigning the ASICS Kayano 5 OG, borrowing the house’s archival Squiggle print and implanting it on the silhouette’s sockliner, and draped in solid red, orange and electric blue, makes for a very loud and bold shoe, even by ASICS’ standards.

Watch the review as Bryan ‘Botak’ Chin and Julian ‘Sunflower’ Leong break down the model, its colour choices, and why the famed fashion house decided to work with ASICS for this collab.

Nike Pays Tribute To Rasheed Wallace With Another Iteration Of The Air Force 1 High

No other athlete is further down the deep end with a specific model, and Rasheed Wallace is down there with a select few when it comes to his love for the Air Force One Highs. Whereas 2018 received a white and blue “Think 16” makeover of the model, the 2019 one presents a much cleaner slate, and more premium feel to it.

Structural details remain the same, however the 2019 edition gets dressed up in nothing but white, comprising of white patent leather construction for the upper and white Air Force 1 midsole. Wallace’s signature fadeaway logo is also embroidered on the lateral heel for an extra touch of detail.

The Nike Air Force One High ‘Sheed’ releases on the 1st of June at Nike.com for an estimated price of RM 715. Definitely one for the basketball fans.

LANSI Re-Enters The Streetwear Scene With Its Latest “REBOOT” Collection

An OG has returned, and after a one year hiatus from the scene, LANSI is back in full force, entering its 10th year in the game with the “REBOOT” collection. Serving as a general collection, “REBOOT” aims to reintroduce itself amongst the other swathe of brands now available in the market, and as such, has kept it within constraints that everyone is familiar.

The colourful tees for instance, pay homage to the tees and designs of the past, focused center by the word LANSI on the collar. Couple of other designs include a logo tee, as well as velour hoodie, jumper and shorts to add a bit of a variety to the collection.

Prices also remain on the affordable side, with tees going for RM 60 while the hoodie and shorts retail for RM 99.
