Yuna Sets A Stern Reminder To Never Backstab Her In New MV, Blank Marquee

After teasing her new single just a few days before the actual release, Yuna’s collaboration with G-Eazy is finally here, a dark and staved reminder of Yuna’s position in power amongst her associates.

The song revolves around Yuna as she hits an epiphany, whereby she realises that her peers are just using her for her fame and connections to get to higher places, that all of their supposed care and friendship for her is only a front to further their own agendas. Obviously, this displeases her, and as such has set a stern reminder that without her, they’ll fade into nothingness, much like a blank marquee in front of a movie theater. G-Eazy then provides an opposing perspective that rings close to the original statement, showcasing a chemistry that works surprisingly well between rap and modern synth pop.

Not to mention that the deliciously cinematic video, with Adam Sinclair at the directing helm. Watch the video above, and let us know what you think of the MV.

Juventus Looks To The Future With A Bold Kit Change For The 2019/20 Season

We really had not seen this coming. Juventus, fresh from their 8th consecutive title has launched their most unique item besides the drastic logo change, a double striped jersey with a pink dividing line right down the middle. The Bianconeri’s uniform is keeps to tradition, while still maintaining a progressive launch towards a new era for the Italian football team.

Why the pink stripe? Well, pink was the very first colour that the club played in, and this kit serves to pay homage to that fact.

Cuts consists of a clean, crew neck with black and white sleeves, flanked with contrasting three stripes motif as per the standard Adidas template. The kit also features CLIMALITE technology to wick sweat and keep the wearer dry during match times.

The kit is available in stores and online this May 2019.

Where To Buy The Latest Converse X Golf Le Fleur ‘Quilted Velvet’

After the release of the Converse X Golf Le Fleur “Industrial” Pack, comes something that throws the silhouette into relatively uncharted territory, by donning up both the One Star and Chuck 70 in quilted velvet.

What seems to be a heavy 90s throwback is actually chockful of little details, most prominently because of the liberal use of velvet, which provides a very different outlook that stands out much more than your standard pair of Converse. The flower motif on the medial and lateral sides of the shoe follow the same colourway as the upper, while other interesting additions include 2 pairs of velvet laces, and the standard burlap dust bag.

The One Star comes in “Brown Sugar” and “Barbados Cherry” while the Chuck 70 comes in “Tillandsia Purple,” both priced at RM 479.99 and RM 499.99 respectively.

Interested? All three pairs will be available at Converse KLCC and Mid-Valley stores, Crossover Sunway and online, as well as selected JD Sports stores on the 17th of May. Just be sure to avoid water when you’re wearing them out.

Don’t Fear, The Fear Of God Raid Black Is Here

If you missed out on the first drop of the Nike Air Fear Of God Raid, here’s another chance at copping the black version, and what we’d argue is the better looking colourway compared to the first one.

To recap, the Fear Of God Raid is Jerry’s iteration of the Nike Air Raid of yesteryears, following his amazement at the model when he first saw it in high school. The story has now come full circle, as he’s designed his own take on the model, resulting in a shoe that retains all the right elements of the Raid while remaining distinctively Fear Of God.

The colour pallette is now changed, featuring a deep black upper on all aspects of the shoe, countered by a much more vintage looking cream midsole that hits all of the right points. We’d wager this will be the more popular one when it drops.

Speaking of which, this black iteration will be releasing on the 17th of May, 2019, only at Nike.com alongside other FOG apparel. Best be copping.

Should The Nike Air Presto Receive An Upgrade?

Or Should Nike Have Stuck With The Original Design?

The Nike Air Presto has now become a must have in any decent sneakerhead collection and even a grail to some extent, as the silhouette has been made crushingly popular in the culture from the likes of Acronym and Off-White, and for good reason; the shoe is light, comfortable, and fits just about a wide variety of foot sizes that it has been dubbed the “T-shirt for the foot.”

It is an iconic fit in many ways, more so with a simple design that doesn’t overcomplicate things in order to set out what it needed to achieve in the first place. The silhouette has stood the grueling test of time, fairing almost 2 decades now and has become as synonymous with the culture itself as it is a thriving icon. Until Nike decided to give it a refresh and an all new React sole.

Maybe it’s about time. It has been 19 years of the same design, and an update is very much due. The Nike React Presto pays homage to the original, featuring an all new breathable mesh upper, a redesigned midfoot cage, and as the name suggest, an all new React midsole. It plays between the lines of an updated model and a homage, as from a far, it can look as if it were a completely new model, but only upon closer inspection one would notice the details of which the new React Presto bases itself upon.

For instance, the 5 dots on the lateral heel portion of the original has now been moved to the heel tab, the V-collar is retained, but sculpted to give more comfort, and the overall shape of the upper just reminds you of the Presto. Even the colours are reminiscent of the original; names like “Rabid Panda” and “Brutal Honey” make a comeback with an insole graphic representing the named colourways. All in all, a modern iteration to a long standing classic, and one I think that deserves its sequel.

Much like the original then, this aims to be at the epicenter of mass market appeal, but unlike the original, it’s a full on lifestyle shoe that does what it does best: look good on feet, and give plenty of all-day comfort without any hassle. And honestly, what more can you ask from a daily?

Engineered Garments And UNIQLO Collaborate To Make Polo T-Shirts

Engineered Garments and UNIQLO come together to recreate the polo shirt, featuring unique reworks to the lifelong motive of simplicity, quality, and longevity. It’s a merry mix of both worlds, as the usual polo tshirt is reimagined in the eyes of Engineered Garments.

The brand is the perfect one to approach, having based their ethos on contemporary reworks of Americana fashion, which translates extremely well into the collaborative line of men’s polo shirt in 4 oversized styles that represents EG’s take on a wardrobe basic. Some include rugby shirts, as well as shirts with deliberately mismatched looks and shirts featuring three stripes of different widths in complementary tones.

Engineered Garments head Daiki Suzuki said about the new collection that, “From the inception of this project I looked forward to completing the challenge of crafting new basics that would incorporate UNIQLO’s first-rate quality control and materials development ethos in Engineered Garments styling that is at once simple and subtly distinctive. I’m delighted with what we’ve achieved though this partnership.”

The UNIQLO X Engineered Garments collection will drop at all stores country wide and online on Friday, 7th June.

If You Want An Air Max 720, This Is The Colourway You Should Get

Many different iterations of the Air Max 720 has been released. From the OG “Aurora” Pack, through to the “Sunset” colourways and many more in between, but out of all, the Northern Lights colourway remains close. Until this came along.

What is by far the most interesting colourway on the 720 is also the most unique one, featuring an iridescent sheen to it that refracts light to give a burst of colour, The “Northern Lights” could never come close.

Structural wise, everything remains the same, only the midsole has been given a somewhat mild toxic green makeover that perfectly complements the colours of the upper.

The Air Max 720 releases for a price of RM 735 and is available now at Nike.com.
